Starter:
When a visitor comes into Bible class, how do you respond to him? Sometimes our visitors are poor and they aren’t wearing clothes that are as nice as ours. We should never look down on someone because they are poor. God wants us to love everyone no matter how they dress or how they look. God loved us by giving us His only Son to die for us. He loved us when we were not lovely. We should have the same kind of love for others.
Weekly Memory Verse:
My brothers, show no partiality as you hold the faith in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory. For if a man wearing a gold ring and fine clothing comes into your assembly, and a poor man in shabby clothing also comes in, and if you pay attention to the one who wears the fine clothing and say, “You sit here in a good place,” while you say to the poor man, “You stand over there,” or, “Sit down at my feet,” have you not then made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil thoughts?
James 2:1-4

Advanced: Are there other kids at church besides visitors that might feel left out? What can we do to make them feel welcome and loved?

Song: I Stand Amazed in the Presence
I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene,
And wonder how He could love me, a sinner, condemned, unclean.
Chorus
O how marvelous! O how wonderful! And my song shall ever be:
O how marvelous! O how wonderful! Is my Savior’s love for me!
In pity angels beheld Him, and came from the world of light
To comfort Him in the sorrows He bore for my soul that night.
Chorus
He took my sins and my sorrows, He made them His very own;
He bore the burden to Calvary, and suffered and died alone.
Chorus
When with the ransomed in glory His face I at last shall see,
‘Twill be my joy through the ages to sing of His love for me.
