The United States economy is in bad shape, but should that affect the amount we give the Lord. This week will finish our series on ways to abound more and more by discussing why we should give beyond our means.
We want to discuss this week how to abound more and more in building broader relationships with other members. The ultimate goal is to know each member’s spiritual and physical needs in order than we might be able to supply what is lacking. We must make every effort possible to know as much about others members as we can.
In the context of our theme verse Paul writes, “We urge you, brothers, admonish the idle, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with them all.” (I Thessalonians 5:14) This week we will look at ways we can accomplish those tasks.
Our congregational theme for 2009 is to “abound more and more.” In this article we discuss abounding in Bible study. It is important that we not only attend Bible studies, but that we devote ourselves to them.
