God uses the Bible to bring the seekers together with the preachers. Who knows how many stories could be told over the last two thousand years? God is still involved in the business of evangelism. Let’s not forget His role. As Paul said, “we are God’s fellow workers.” (1 Corinthians 3:9)

The results of reading the Bible cannot be overestimated: “Moreover by them Your servant is warned, and in keeping them there is great reward” (Psalm 19:11). There’s nothing irrelevant about the Bible. It has vital information. It contains the words of life! It is by the Bible that we will be judged (Revelation 20:12)! Keep this in mind and Bible study will never be boring again!

Bible study is a gymnasium for the soul. The word translated discipline in our Bibles is actually where our word gymnasium comes from. Our souls need to be exercised just like our bodies do. God’s Word will get you into spiritual shape, but Bible study is not easy, nor is it always pleasant.
